Pet Therapy Team
As a lifelong dog owner, Mary understands the special bond we have with our canine friends. As a result, she has volunteered with the Mayo Clinic hospice program to visit patients and provide a much-needed source of positive energy and comfort to those in their final months of life.
As the former chair of the Hastings Public Safety Committee and daughter of a lifelong firefighter, Mary believes strongly in the importance of public safety in our community. She understands that the safety and security of our citizens is a huge responsibility, and strongly supports supplying the Hastings Police Department and Hastings Fire Department with the resources and staffing necessary to protect all of Hastings. As Mayor, Mary will be an advocate for our public safety employees and departments.
A lifetime in Hastings
Mary has devoted her life to making Hastings a great city and wants to use her decades of business experience and leadership to lead our community as Mayor.
"I have the perspective I need to be a positive and innovative leader for Hastings. I'm not a politician. I offer a fresh perspective as someone who has owned a business, paid taxes, employed people, and for years worked closely with other business owners and residents to make Hastings a better place. I want to share my skills and ideas with the entire city as Mayor and help our community thrive."
I'd enjoy hearing from you during the campaign. Thank you for your support as we move Hastings forward together.
Mary Fasbender knows how to get things done and is dedicated to being a great Mayor for all of Hastings.
